By using StudyZap ("Service"), you fully accept these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. StudyZap is operated by an individual operator based in Italy.
StudyZap is an AI-powered study platform that allows users to upload PDF documents, generate automated flashcards, earn study points (ZAP), and purchase sessions with AI tools (Coach AI, Mind Map, Summary, Exam Simulation) via the ZAP Shop.
To access the main features you need to create an account. You must be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and all activities carried out from your account. You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
StudyZap offers free and paid plans (Pro, Ultra). Payments are processed by Stripe Inc. Prices are in Euros and include VAT where applicable. Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time via the Stripe customer portal. No refunds are provided for already-billed periods, unless otherwise required by law.
ZAP points are a virtual currency that cannot be converted to cash, transferred, or refunded. Points are automatically credited based on study activity. Sessions purchased in the ZAP Shop are personal, non-transferable, and expire when the account is closed.
PDFs you upload remain your property. You grant StudyZap a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process the content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. StudyZap does not retain original PDFs beyond the time necessary for processing. You may not upload copyrighted content without authorisation, illegal content, or sensitive third-party data.
By registering and explicitly opting in to promotional communications, you agree to receive emails from StudyZap regarding: service updates, promotions, special offers, study tips and platform news. You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking "Unsubscribe" in any email or writing to privacy@studyzap.it. Opting out does not affect transactional emails necessary for account operation.
StudyZap is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be 100% accurate. AI can produce errors or inaccuracies — always verify generated content with official sources. We are not responsible for direct or indirect damages resulting from use of the Service.
All code, design, logos and original content of StudyZap are protected by copyright and owned by the operator. Reproduction, modification or distribution without written authorisation is prohibited.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by Italian law. For any dispute, the competent Italian court shall have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protection provisions.
